This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything
here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer
encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the
archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those
repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is
for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site,
so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

Saw him live once at the Paramount in Oakland. great set. all seated. they wouldn't let me dance in the isle, wouldn't let me dance in the back, wouldn't let me dance at my seat, and once all options were explored, it was song break, so I yelled "Tom, they won't let me dance" Tom looked up, out to the audience indirectly, and said "You can do whatever you want...But let's make a deal. how about, dance to some, and not to others" and then he went into "Shore Leave" which is not danceworthy. But when Phillipino Box Spring Hog came up, I was free to go nuts. We stormed the front towards the end. I was getting down with some hot 50 year old black woman to Big in Japan. too much fun. this was probably 1999 or so. ~witz
