This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. No, actually I don't have a problem with that. I'm quite aware that I can't control external things. I just dont' agree with the can control / can't control items he listed. I'd switch categories on some of them.
