This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. The decades of the Good Life might be worth the last few years on the  
inside.  It's at least plausible that it's a rational trade.  Was he  
dumb?  That's for him to say.

Or, hey, take the "late" Ken Lay.  I mean, even if he actually *is*  
dead: a bunch of years being really really rich.  And then, at worst,  
an early exit.  How tragic.  At best, he's drinking margaritas on a  
beach someplace tropical, laughing at all the rest of us.
