An Actual Wolfe Question

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

I haven't read GR; the only Pynchon books I've read are The Crying of
Lot 49 and Against the Day (which is actually a lot longer than GR). I
think you might enjoy Lot 49 - it's less than two hundred pages,
there's not nearly as much detail, and there are several scenes that
made me laugh out loud.

There's also one scene in Against the Day that had me laughing for
about five minutes on end, though it was a variation on one of
Pynchon's kinky sex scenes, so YMMV. I think people who have read AtD
may know the scene I refer to?
