This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

But I also can't fit the Long Past picture in with "a
tongue that has not yet achieved existence" or "yet
undiscovered concepts".  Could this mean that we
haven't yet reached the time in our universe that
corresponds with Severian's time in his earlier
universe?

On the subject of one time influencing an earlier time,
I think Christian thinkers have said or speculated that
the Incarnation had consequences in its past.  And it's
no harder, possibly easier to accept than time travel.
