This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. What part of this can't be true?

Maybe you're thinking of "gun owners per capita" rather than "guns per 
capita"? The former would also be interesting info, but I don't know if 
anyone's measured it, and I don't have time to look right now.
