This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

I know what you mean, I've tried recommending the Book of the New Sun to a
friend of mine really into fantasy, but it didn't catch. I guess that readi=
ng
any book by Wolfe is quite a heavy task, and it is only a fluke that a few =
of
us can muster the effort to tackle it. Because Wolfe doesn't write crap, th=
is
is true of all his books, and it is hard to find an accessible one.
