This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. It's been suggested that Valeria in the BotNS is based upon Valeria Mescali=
na,
er, Messalina, who was the third wife of the Emperor Claudius. Going throug=
h a
dictionary of classical mythology today, I was reading the entry on Valeria
and discovered that Valeria, due to madness or just plain out of spite to h=
er
husband, often worked in a brothel. We have a brothel in the BotNS, not too
far from Valeria's house, so is it possible she has a tie to the House Azur=
e?
