Gene Wolfe Fans Talk Politics (Again)

brunians at brunians.org · 19 May 2009, 21:56 · from 2009-May.txt.gz

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

I calls them like I sees them. I prefer to look straight at things and
name them plainly, rather than search for more comforting, euphemistic
ways to express plain reality. And I don't think that taxation is
something we should be really comfortable with, even if a certain amount
is necessary.

By the way, I devote zero effort to evading taxes, and even keep good
track of the cash money I make so that I can accurately pay my quarterly
taxes.

Extortion makes the world go round....
