This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Ah, but here is our fundamental disagreement: I don't think  
"extortion" is any closer to "plain reality" than "dues."

I am, in fact, arguing that the reverse is true.  But then I believe  
we probably, at heart, disagree on "plain reality."
