Severians Later Appearance (Spoilers)

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Isn't he a significant part of the story? Nobody has mentioned that
Silk/Horn is identified by Severian as Malrubius. Indeed, the aquastor
Malrubius of the BOTNS is probably strongly influenced by the memories of
Silk/Horn as opposed to what the man himself was like. If Severian made no
distinction between them, his promise to write nothing about Silk/Horn was a
lie, as we would expect from him.
