This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. In fact, the most recent NYROB piece on Orwell was about _The Complete
Orwell_, a 20-volume scholarly edition of literally everything the editors
could find ever written by Orwell, from juvenalia to, I believe literally,
grocery lists.=20

The reviewer started off by asking, "Why Orwell?" but then quickly admitted
that the collection was fascinating and sets a new high-water mark in the
presentation of the works of a canonical author.
