the "trouble on the river" the lochage was referring to

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

No. Different seasons. It was early spring when Sev left the tower. (Soon
after he left, Talos was whacking the heads off wildflowers in the field
near the city gate.)

When Sev found Triskele, it was bitterly cold. (Sev was outside the tower
trying to unclog a frozen drain pipe at the time.) Sev had the dog for only
about a week. He showed the dog to Silkhorn.

Jahlee was running around naked when the party from Blue came to Nessus, not
a cold-weather thing to do. <g>
