This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. What I'm saying is that Pas is as much Typhon as the Typhons Severian 
encountered in the The Book of the New Sun and the Urth of the New Sun. 
Maybe he's changed a lot from the creation of the Whorl. Maybe he's 
worse after all those centuries of children being sacrificed to him. 
Maybe not, though. The Typhon Severian met did not strike me as a man of 
introspection.
