This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything
here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer
encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the
archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those
repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is
for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site,
so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

It's not meant to be a turnwise game as far a guessing goes, just like people don't have to take turns reading Wolfe's stories and figuring out what they mean. The person gets their turn to make a riddle by solving the previous one. I suppose we might decide that there needs to be some stopping conditions for unsolved riddles. >>>>> Rather than reward laziness, I'll hand you a (somewhat) Wolfean >>>>> riddle: >>>>> >>>>> My writ is three steps' march or four kilometers from my foot, behind >>>>> the baseboards with everyone else's. >>>> >>>> I think that's enough of a head start for Brunians; the rest of you are >>>> invited to "play" and solve the riddle. -- Jeff Wilson - jwilson at io.com IEEE Student Chapter Blog at < http://ieeetamut.org >
