This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything
here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer
encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the
archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those
repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is
for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site,
so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

But I think he also has said that his inspiration for the governmental forms were Byzantine. Buenos Aires is not known for a complete surrounding wall but Byzantium was. An elaborate double wall formed from the earlier Severin Wall surrounded by the later Constantinian Wall. Plus it had many formally named gates such as Xerolophus, Prodromos and Melantius, etc. I consider it possible that we are not meant to strain too hard to discern the practical purpose of the wall but rather to recognize the historical reference. _________________________________________________________________ The New Busy is not the old busy.
