Starbirth

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

As alga says.

Apheta. The star of a nativity: the nativity of a star.

Scarey, circular, yet somehow . . . it makes sense.

Back to the "Terminus Est" Latin tangle, obviously I'm on the side
that says, "Write the essay anyway, even if your initial impulse
wasn't immediately validated by the Vulgate."

In other news: got a snail letter the other day from our old Wolfe
list friend Adam Stephanides. He has some things to say. I'll tell
all later.
