The mystery of the image of an astronaut cleaned by Rudesind

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

I'm positing it as true - say, Rudesind is Inire. And I'm asking 'and now
what?'. And I'm not getting an answer.

As to the significance of the simian signifiers, it could of course be that
wherever they're present we're dealing with an agent of Inire. Never
disputed that. Though I find it a wild stretch.

Or maybe they tell us more about the characters' idea of monkeys than of the
beings being characterised.
