Inhumi in the Whorl

Lee Berman · 17 Aug 2010, 02:51 · from 2010-August.txt.gz

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

I am not quite so fluent on Short Sun issues but this is exactly my own theory. I must
peruse your other thoughts about Inhumi with careful attention.

One can postulate about unmentioned gelatinous secretions and pressure equalizers and
biological heat and oxygen reserves to explain unassisted bio-space travel until the cows come
home.

But my own first theory upon encountering such inexplicable contradictions and conunundrums
in Wolfe stories is: *Somebody is lying*. I think following that simple rule can take you far.

p.s. I think Krait is the name you were missing.
