This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. I don't think anyone knows much about Valeria Severa. But Wolfe may have
liked the name. Which came first, his name or hers? For all we know, Valeria
may be his mother and Catherine his sister. Has anyone worked out the
significance of the name Severian, besides the bishop?
