This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. You are certainly onto something! Here's just a thought, taken from the
Britannica: the explorer-missionary David Livingston's father-in-law, Robert
Moffat, was also a missionary to Africa. Perhaps someone with access to a
university library could discover the name of his wife.
