Vodalus and Severian continued

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Not to look for a victim/donor, thought it might be a place to stash a 
recently deceased known sympathizer, in a pickle-barrel sort of way.

I'm a bit skeptical that the bog would keep the memories intact for very 
long, but if they survive being roasted they ought to survive the bog. 
Though there is the possibility that in Thecla's case, the cooked meat 
is really pork spiked with her uncooked "retentive tissues" to maximize 
viability and minimize the gaminess that could gather even in a snow 
cave after so long.
