This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Yes.

That I'm not so sure about. The idea of a god taking over a prophet
and speaking through them, which seems to be roughly what possession
means here, has some respectable antecedents. I meant inaccurate
because it falls short of what Christians believe about Jesus, rather
than because it connotes anything bad.
