Who's Right?

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

I. Sev acknowledges to Rudesind that Inire is an alien, but living on 
Urth as a human - disguise #1.

II. Inire's letter mentions he had to travel south by other methods - 
implying he was in the north.

III. Severian mentions to Rudesind that Inire was with him in the north, 
attending the old Autarch.

IV. Sev's travelogue mentions a masked man who slipped into the old 
Autarch's palanquin. The masked man is also small and bent as if with 
great age, the same as Inire - disguise #2.
