This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Somehow I lost The message where the difference between "shaped" & "made" in regards to humans making the Heirogrammates, or rather their ancestors.

I really can't help but think we're missing the point when we interperet this to be some "artificial" act of creation, something Promethean.  I think the point is that they became like enlightened Bhodisatvas who unhinged themselves from the wheel of time but still send their efforts into it.
Can't a Bhodisatva be said to have been "shaped" by the culture that nurtured it?
