This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. While I am not necessarily buying onto James's theory here (though it
has some merit and I may end up convinced), I should point out that
the Jesus of the New Testament frequently prays, notably in the Garden
of Gethsemane.
