This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Just thinking about Gene Wolfe's advocation for the dead/admiration for old masters, I could 
imagine him bored in his engineering office in an historic old Chicago building and deciding 
to get a ladder to see what was above the drop ceiling.  Finding a dusty, long-neglected but 
beautiful fresco on the old ceiling I could imagining him thinking, "that sucks. I need to 
put this into my BotNS project".

This Jonas talk inspired me to poke around a little. Hethor says his ship is called The Quasar 
and the connection to the Ship which brings the White Fountain seems hard to ignore.

The word QUASAR (quasi-stellar radio source) was coined in 1964. It was later discovered that 90%
of such bodies were actually "radio-quiet" and that we were lucky to have discovered the 10% which 
are "radio-loud". Could "lucky QUASAR radio-loud" be converted to Fortunate Q-loud?
