This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Well, yes, valid point based on the assumption.=20

But then again, there may not have been any such thing as abo's in the
sense of a native race, and the Trenchards are con artists or even
deluded.

On the other hand, Robert Borski has made a pretty solid case that not
only is Vic's vanished mother of the  Free People of the hills, but Roy
Trenchard is actually an abo also, specifically of the marshmen,
therefore no Terran/Annese crossbreeding is necessary (leave that kind
of scenario for Star Trek). Check out the essay entitled "Roy Trenchard,
