Wolfe essay in Lafferty book.

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. My first posting to the list and it's a rather tangential one...

I just snapped up two more R.A. Lafferty books to add to my fairly
obsessive Lafferty collection, and as I took them back to the office I
noticed that one of them - _East of Laughter_ has an essay by Gene
Wolfe, _Scribbling Giant_ in the first 260 copies printed.=20

Needless to say, my copy is not amongst that 260.

Has anyone read the essay in question? Any comments?
