This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

Well, I don't know what to make of Blue, if it isn't the terraformed Lune or a transplanted Yesod (or was Urth transplanted? I don't have a good explanation) but I am pretty sure Blue isn't Green, and therefore isn't Urth.? This astral travel of Silk is clearly normally through space, with?at least?some smal?evidence of passage through time, but I can't fathom the correction "no,no,no, Green is Urth" if my starting hypothesis, Blue was Urth, was in any way, shape, or form correct.? Blue winding up the color blue was?an authorial?switch (read red herring) to hide the mechanism of Silk thinking about the evil on Green and "his" son Sinew the first time he goes to Urth, and the blurring of the planets fits with the blurring of the narrator's personality, where it is very difficult at first to determine who he is in what combination.?

Lee, are you saying Urth effectively "tripled"?? One extent somewhere out there?in space, Nessus bridging the gap, and an urth from a different time?in the same solar system as Blue?? This doesn't seem intuitively like the right solution, I think we need to look at what caused the deluge.? Did any astral bodies move? I don't think any of these planets are "master ash" type possible futures, I think Urth and Green are the same planet at different times and that Blue is something else, but whether it is Lune seems almost impossible to determine at this time without some further hint, which I must scour for.

Now, why is Apheta's face specifically linked to Lune?? If it's a portal, then we DO have movement from Yesod directly onto Lune (is Lune a portal in this scheme?? Is the Cummean curled up in the moon in another of Severian's visions?)? Is this kind of movement capable of planting a city there?? Is there ever any indication of alien life on Verthandi?? My memory of the?astronomy in New Sun is atrocious because I never focused on it at all, never cared for kaballah and whatnot.? Apheta's face mentioned twice on the moon and the Hieros ability to create suns and planets MUST be important, I just don't understand the nature of those planets.
