"friendly tree" in Calde of hte Long Sun

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Oh yeah, in that scene where Silk talks to the Outsider in Calde, where Kypris is identified as Hyacinth and mother, it says, "With help from a friendly tree, he walked the stony rim of the pool to a swinging seat facing the water." epiphany 220

This personification of trees even in Long Sun is something else, even though we can just assume he used the tree for support.
