This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Surely she was younger. Horn must be in his mid/late thirties at this point;
humans have only been on Blue for ~20 years. But I was thinking really of
Silk, the one she departs with in the end, for the age thing.

Anyway, to the extent it means anything at all, I think it has most to do
with contrasts between the two women and their situations.
