Sev's family tree

Son of Witz · 27 Jan 2011, 23:20 · from 2011-January.txt.gz

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

I'll buy that for a dollar!

In the Library of Nessus, he finds the brown book, which is probably his most prized possesion. This book has a real transcending worth in that the retold stories preserves something of the lost past, apart from Severian's memory and memoir.

Of course, he is also after his sword, which later he understands why he was destined to carry this gargantuan sword across Urth- to fight the Giant.
