'King Rat' and the abuse of women in Gene Wolfe's stories

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. I don't write aliens or elves or dwarves or any of that. 

Although it does raise some questions. Is there a universal male or female experience across different species or worlds?
