This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. I misread you, youre not saying the great beasts are 17. So I'll advance the 
possibility that there were once 17 personalities, simultaneously or not, 
whom the ascians came to revere and the commonwealthians to despise. The 
ascians may call them the g17, or the group may have purposely named itself 
after the 17.
