This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything
here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer
encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the
archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those
repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is
for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site,
so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

I am a paranoid reader who thinks Fechin is Inire, for one. And as the one who built the botanical gardens, inire's wizardly predisposition suggest a mastery of the corridors, and makes it rather easy for me to believe that he not only taught Severian how to use the mirrors, but also traveled through them himself. And I had figured Hethor came through time on his travels where he acquired his pets and poppets. The shops do seem to move out of sync with time, though I could be mistaken.
