This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

I could find no mention of Spading Moon, but the following is a compilation
of various lists of moon-month names found on the web. The traditonal moon
name in the OLD FARMER'S ALMANAC is the first name listed for each month.
The names are often American Indian in origin and will need to be adjusted
for latitude and hemisphere. I suspect the Spading Moon would be equal to
Planter's Moon, aka the Seed Moon, Plow Moon, Planting Moon. FWIW

January - Wolf Moon
February - Snow Moon, Hunger Moon, Opening Buds Moon
March - Worm Moon, Maple Sugar Moon, Plow Moon, Seed Moon
April - Pink Moon, Frog Moon, Growing Moon, Seed or Planting Moon, Planter's
Moon
May - Flower Moon, Budding Moon, Planting Moon
June - Strawberry Moon
July - Buck Moon, Blood Moon, Hay Moon
August - Sturgeon Moon, Moon of the Green Corn, Barley Moon
September - Harvest Moon, Wine Moon
October - Hunter's Moon, Moon of Falling Leaves
November - Beaver Moon, Snow Moon
December - Cold Moon
