This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

That was the first Wolfe book I ever saw, I was like in the fourth grade or so and my father's co-worker gave me all his used sci-fi magazines and SFbook club hardback books after he was done with them.? Claw of the conciliator, book club hardback with that illustration?- I had to go look for Shadow and buy a used paperback to read it.?

I might read it on the train just for the snickers, then I could start extolling his literary virtues to the disbelief of my fellow passengers.
