This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. I think the important point of Patroclus in the story is that he dons 
the mantle of Achilles for a while and is then slain. In that sense, he 
plays the role played by Mordred and other usurpers in mythology. Who 
killed Dux Caesidius?
