This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

Hmph! Well, I can (and have) argued that from giant eels to kelpie hierodules,

to giant sea Mothers and sexy mermaids, fish god (and fish mouth) themes are 

of the utmost relevance in the Sun Series.

Looking at the essential nature of Blue and Green planets we might conclude

that WOlfe is telling us that trees and fish are of equal significance to 

this story.

Looking at Dionysus we are more likely to conclude that trees (and vines, heh)

are of the higher importance.  Dionysus spent his early years in the sea

with Thetis (hiding from Hera) and sea themes are an important part of his cult

but overall, I concur that trees are more primary for him.
