Scylla -- from Urth to Whorl?

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Is there any connection between the monster Scylla mentioned in the BOTNS
and Typhon's daughter Scyla dealt with in the Long Sun books?  Is it
possible that one or more of Typhon's children remained behind on Earth and
took the route that Baldanders did, growing in human form until they became
true monstrosities and going to live beneath the sea?  Perhaps there are
citations (though none occur to me now) that would allow one to place the
period at which the "monsters" (Erebus and co.) appear and take their places
beneath Urth's oceans -- perhaps these dates are contemporaneous with
Typhon's reign.
