This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything
here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer
encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the
archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those
repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is
for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site,
so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

That's clearly possible, but which cities would those be? It seems Roy has answered the question of the canted tower in the City of the Inhumi by pointing out that it wasn?t there. And the one that was supposedly there *wasn?t* part of a cluster, so it?s different anyway. As for the cities, we know that one was Nessus, built on Urth by humans (with some extra-Solar input), and one was the City of the Inhumi, built on Green by the Neighbours. We were told this. I don?t recall the general architecture of Nessus outside the citadel being described. Was it full of skyscrapers like the City of the Inhumi appears to be? If so, I think Severian would have mentioned them somewhere. Even if it was, I don?t think it would be a defining property of a galactically unique city. - Gerry Quinn -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
