This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

But there is no indication, as far as I am aware, that Blue has suffered a disastrous flood.

It is a watery planet, yes, and it has cities under the waves, as all watery planets with ancient cities doubtless do.  But, if my understanding is correct, the Neighbours were doing fine until they developed space technology and went to Green, eventually awakening the inhumi to intelligence.  That was the disaster that befell them, not a Flood, and it affected both planets as a flood could not have.
