This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

Not that I believe a word of this, but why is everyone talking about Verthandi?  If Blue is somehow a planet of the Solar System it surely has to be Skuld.  The surface gravity of Verthandi is only a third of Urth?s, and somebody would have noticed.

?Colourless? sounds like an odd description of a black cloak anyway.  I know people go on about black and white not being colours, but Severian definitly calls fuligin a colour.  To me, ?colourless? implies grey or washed out, or even transparent like a plastic mac.
