Tintin?

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

This is purely coincidental, I'm sure, but I just noticed the resemblance
between the Miracle of Apu Punchau and the means by which Tintin, Captain
Haddock and Professor Calculus are saved in Herge's PRISONERS OF THE SUN. =20
Incidentally, the previous adventure to the PRISONERS OF THE SUN is THE SEC=
RET
OF THE UNICORN/RED RACKHAM'S TREASURE, concerning the treasure of the ship
Unicorn, hidden under St. John's Cross. The chapter before Apu Punchau in
URTH ends with a mention of two constellations: the Unicorn and the Cross.
