This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Ahem! That's themes begun in BotNS ;- ).

perhaps "cacogen" is another word for it?

Those three items track sufficiently to Dr. Talos for me. I won't even mention Father Inire
though the Jungle Guide carries a notable staff, as does Ceryx. Does Dr. Talos' cane count?

It is probably worth mentioning that Osiris' body was interred in a lead-sealed coffin, an
image which should bring a certain element or two from BotNS to mind.

Moreover, the Typhon-Osiris myth was likely imported to Greece, though in that version, Typhon 
defeats Zeus by ripping out his sinews. Hermes manages to get them back and restore Zeus.
