Like a good Neighbor

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

You very well know that I believe the inhumi are connected somehow to
the liannas. But the green man does not look like a Neighbor. I'm not
absolutely certain that a Neighbor could even be captured by the
Severian's people. Drawing a connection between the Neighbors and the
green man has as many problems as equating Urth and Green. Let's not buy
trouble for ourselves.

Yes, but not _necessarily_ a relic of Urth. Green and Urth could be same
but Green could be at the same point in the renewal cycle that Urth is
in Silk's time. I'm not talking about a mantanvara. I'm talking about
something like Green-->Earth-->Urth-->Ushas. Both Green and Urth are on
the verge of a renewal.
