This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. And the idea that Green and Blue come so close (in the "conjunction" ) 
that their atmospheres
touch does not come from inhumi, it comes from Wolfe, and it is said (as 
common
knowledge) that this allows the inhumi to cross.

I think this idea is not less doubtful from the points of view of 
physics than inhumi
crossing through the void. The tides would be much more catastrophic than
described by Wolfe. There is Roche limit (about 9000 km for Earth) when the
orbiting planet will be destroyed by tidal forces. Since this is not 
correctly described
by Wolfe (and it is not a story told by inhumi, but Wolfe's description of
the system), I rather agree that in this case it is loose physics (or 
maybe GW
is amusing himself with some "naive" errors).
