This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

There is no prominent nosed man with the scar on his eye socket (except 
Silkhorn)
in the end of Chapter 7 of RttW - what is said, is (when Silkhorn enters 
the dram shop):

"Sit down, Patera.
Auk sat across from me, more dour and more more threatening than I ever 
imagined him
when we wrote about his meeting with Silk. I blinked and he was gone, 
but soon returned.
Eventually I called the owner of the shop over, saying  quite truthfully 
that my head ashed,
that I was very tired and much in need of company..."

I think these "ghosts" haunting Silkhorn at this moment explain also why 
he first
called Jahlee Chenille (two pages later).
