Wolfe vindicated!

David Duffy · 05 Dec 2011, 23:02 · from 2011-December.txt.gz

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

I always thought the Autarch's explanation of how flyers work an in-joke
by Wolfe, but saw a link today to:

(from http://www.physorg.com/news/2011-11-quantum-vacuum-dark.html)

Hajdukovic concludes:

the gravitational properties of antimatter [will] be tested in CERN before
the end of the current decade (Kellerbauer et al. 2008) and that the
recent theoretical considerations give some support to the gravitational
repulsion between matter and antimatter (Villata 2011).

Villata, M.: CPT symmetry and antimatter gravity in general relativity.
Europhys. Lett. 94, 20001 (2011)

So, was this idea already floating around in the 60-70's?

Cheers, David Duffy.
